John Dies at the End coming soon from Permuted Press!

Solving the following riddle will reveal the awful secret behind the universe, assuming you do not go utterly mad in the attempt. If you already happen to know the awful secret behind the universe, feel free to skip ahead.
We've picked up a very cool novel by David Wong called John Dies at the End which we're planning for a quick release this summer. This book has it all: apocalyptic scenario, genuine scares and creepiness, and very dark humor. Imagine X-Files redone with more horror by the guys who did "Shaun of the Dead" and you're getting the very general idea. And you can read the whole thing online here right now! I challenge anyone to read the prologue and not want to read the rest of the book.

"[John Dies at the End is] a gleefully anarchic blend of gutbusting comedy and gutmunching horror. I would have laughed louder but I was afraid of what would hear me."
--David Demchuk, author of Alice in Cyberspace

"Hilarious, exuberant, and disgusting, usually all at the same time. It's the steamy love letter to horror that most of us wish we had the guts to write."
--Ben Thomas, editor of The Willows

"[John Dies at the End is enough] to keep anyone interested for weeks... This is one breakthrough novel that everyone should be reading. Go wrap yourself up in a blanket, grab a cup of coffee, and lock your bedroom door. And read JDatE."
--Caysie Bury, Book Babble blog
